Professor Clare Wright OAM reflects on her career
www.latrobe.edu.auClare Wright attended public events, as an Australian historian, recognized for The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (2013), which portrays the Eureka Rebellion from women's perspectives. Her work includes ABC history programs, like Utopia Girls and The War That Changed Us. She earned a PhD from the University of Melbourne, leading public history initiatives at La Trobe serving on the NMA Council since 2022. 2020 saw Wright awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia. for services to literature and historical research.

In 2020, Clare was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours list for “services to literature and to historical research”.
