www.duchyofcornwallnursery.co.ukThe Duchy’s growing nursery site sits within the Duchy estate and opened to the public in 1975 at Lostwithiel in Cornwall after a 50-year growth plan and new developments featuring a newer extension, retail space, and an Orangery restaurant. Prince William visited in July 2023 to see the extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Duchy revenue funds the Duke’s public, private, and charitable work. Located on the Duchy estate forming a key estate operation within Duchy lands which began public access in 1975. The site has grown through a 50-year plan. It is widely regarded as one of the South West’s leading nurseries. Duchy of Cornwall Nursery continues to expand facilities including a new extension while emphasizing nature-friendly horticulture.
