### PKK Urges Release of Abdullah Ocalan
A senior commander of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) told AFP that the group will not take any further steps in its peace process with Turkey unless Ankara moves forward with negotiations and releases its imprisoned founder, Abdullah Ocalan.
The commander stressed that Ocalan’s freedom is essential for reviving dialogue and achieving lasting peace after years of stalled talks and continued tensions between Kurdish militants and the Turkish state.
